Mission
AutoTyp.ch exists to make Swiss vehicle type approval data easier to search and understand. The site focuses on Typenschein values, technical vehicle fields and non-binding cantonal vehicle tax context.
Experience and operator
AutoTyp.ch is operated by Branislav Taskovikj / taskovikj.io as an independent Swiss vehicle data project. The work combines software engineering, data import pipelines, public-data normalization and practical UX around Swiss vehicle documents.
Lookup model
Users can search by Typenschein and view type-level vehicle information. The records describe vehicle types and are presented in a readable public format.
Source preservation
Detail pages show prepared vehicle fields for readability. The original imported records are preserved internally for traceability and data integrity.
Editorial and data standards
Guides and explanations are written for Swiss users and checked against AutoTyp's data model, ASTRA terminology and visible tax-formula limitations. When a page contains an estimate, it is labelled as non-binding.
What AutoTyp does not do
AutoTyp.ch is not an official government service, road traffic office, tax authority, dealer, marketplace, VIN lookup, license plate lookup or owner lookup. Official documents and cantonal decisions remain decisive.
